Mt. Pleasant resident Bryon Beutler exits the front door of his apartment on Dec. 4, 2012. Bryon was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 10 months old. "I was born three months premature. Basically my muscles didn't develop fully and I came through the birth canal too quickly," he said.

One of Bryon's biggest accomplishments is graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in News Editorial Journalism with a minor in Sports Studies from Central Michigan University in 2010. He first moved to Mt. Pleasant and began living away from his family in 1999.
